Philadelphia Sketch Club to Host 20th Annual High School Exhibition
This year marks the 20th Annual High School Exhibition at the Philadelphia Sketch Club. This exhibition features mixed media artwork by high school students from the School District of Philadelphia, and will be open to the public for viewing from February 9 through February 22.
A reception will be held on the last day of the exhibition, Sunday, February 22, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Philadelphia Sketch Club. The public is invited to support our area’s future artists by attending this reception, which is a free event.
The Philadelphia Sketch Club is located at 235 South Camac Street (between 12th and 13th, Locust and Spruce Sts.). Regular gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
The Philadelphia Sketch Club is America’s oldest artist run organization and is dedicated to the creation and appreciation of fine art. Some of our programs include low cost workshops, a contemporary exhibition program, a permanent collection of 19th and early 20th century American art, and an archive with information on past artist members.
If you have further questions about this event or the Philadelphia Sketch Club, please call (215) 545-9298.
