Legacy Art Exhibition and Sale to Benefit the Philadelphia Sketch ClubThe Philadelphia Sketch Club will hold a reception for its annual Legacy Exhibition and Sale on Sunday, November 30th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. All proceeds from sales at this exhibition are donated to the Philadelphia Sketch Club towards the historic organization’s restoration plan. The reception is free of charge and opened to the public.
The Legacy Exhibition is an opportunity for the public to purchase works by many well known members of the Philadelphia Sketch Club for a very reasonable price. Miniatures are priced up to, but no more than, $75. Larger works are priced up to, but no more than, $200. Some of the participating artists include Jack Gerber, Doree Loschiavo, Ronald Spice, and Donald C. Meyer.
The exhibition runs from November 30th through December 21st. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 pm. The Philadelphia Sketch Club is located at 235 S. Camac Street (between 12th and 13th, Locust and Spruce Sts.).
The Philadelphia Sketch Club is America’s oldest artist run organization. It is an active regional arts education center that holds workshops, exhibitions, and a permanent collection of American Art from the late 19th and early 20th century.
