Legacy Art Exhibition and Sale to Benefit the Philadelphia Sketch ClubThe Philadelphia Sketch Club will hold a reception for its annual Legacy Exhibition and Sale on Sunday, December 5th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. The Legacy Exhibition is an opportunity for the public to purchase works by many well known members of the Philadelphia Sketch Club at reasonable prices, with many works priced under $200. Proceeds from sales of Legacy works are donated to the Philadelphia Sketch Club towards the historic organization's restoration plan. The reception is free of charge and opened to the public.
The exhibition runs from December 5 through December 23rd. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 pm. The Philadelphia Sketch Club is located at 235 S. Camac Street (between 12 th and 13 th , Locust and Spruce Sts.).
The Philadelphia Sketch Club is America's oldest artist run organization. It is an active regional arts education center that holds workshops, exhibitions, and a permanent collection of American Art from the late 19 th and early 20 th century.
