Works on Paper -- January 4 to February 1 2004 Main Gallery
Works on Paper at the Philadelphia Sketch Club
The Philadelphia Sketch Club will host an opening reception for its annual juried Works on Paper exhibition, on Sunday, January 4 from 2 until 5:00 pm. There is no charge to attend the opening reception or the exhibition, which runs through February 1. Regular gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00.
The exhibition will include works in all media using a paper surface as a support. The jurors for this year’s competition are Nancy Barch, Dick Ranck; and Keith Phillips.The Philadelphia Sketch Club is America’s oldest artist run organization. It is an active regional arts education center that holds workshops, exhibitions, and a permanent collection of American Art from the late 19th and early 20th century. Located at 235 South Camac Street (between 12th and 13th, Locust and Spruce), the Philadelphia Sketch Club is conveniently located and accessible by many public transportation routes.
