Annual Workshop Exhibition at the Philadelphia Sketch Club
From June 6 through June 27, the Philadelphia Sketch Club (PSC) will host their Annual Workshop Exhibition featuring works by participants in the PSC's life model, portrait, and printmaking workshops. An opening reception for the exhibition will be held on Sunday, June 6 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. This is a free event open to the public. Regular viewing hours for this exhibition will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. Please note there will be no gallery hours on Saturday, June 12th due to the opening of the PSC's annual Members exhibition at Newman Galleries.
Founded in 1860, the Philadelphia Sketch Club is Americas oldest Artists club and today functions as an art education center, archive, museum and historic site whose mission is to promote the creation and appreciation of art. The Philadelphia Sketch Club is located at 235 S. Camac Street (between 12th and 13th; Locust and Spruce Sts.) and is convenient to many public transportation routes.
