Watercolor: The Next Place to Start

  • Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • April 2nd through April 30th, 2026
  • At the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Upstairs Gallery

Gain control and confidence in watercolour in this five-week course!

Students will work on gradient control, water bead timing, intentional mark making, and edge management. You’ll study master watercolourists to better understand restraint, structure, and economy of means.

Call for Entries: Absolutely Abstract

This is an open, juried show for abstract works. Submitted pieces must be abstract, and may be 2D or 3D in any medium. 

Please note: All works MUST be framed and wired to hang. Works may not exceed 40” in any dimension, including frame. Make sure your information is accurate for each entry; your information will appear exactly as you enter it on all show materials.

Deadline for online submissions: 11:59 PM Friday, April 3rd, 2026
