Classical Drawing for Young Adults

Learn the techniques of classical drawing with Stephen Coleman. This class is designed to help young adults improve their art skills through guided instruction and practice in a variety of dry mediums. With focus on fundamental drawing techniques, including line work, shading, and perspective, students will learn to capture accurate proportions and realistic details by drawing from life models.

Stephen Coleman holds a BFA from Widener University and has previously taught at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA), the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA), the Mainline Art Center, and the Wallingford Community Center. Stephen teaches various mediums, including drawing, watercolor, mixed media, and printmaking. His goal is to guide and instruct people on how to make art, believing that art serves as an outlet for communicating our thoughts and experiences in life.
