About the Instructor
Stacy Ashton brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the classroom. With a background in fine arts, child psychology, and a deep passion for classical drawing, she has been inspiring and mentoring young artists for years. Stacy is known for her patient and encouraging teaching style, making her an ideal mentor for budding artists.
Stacy’s own artistic journey has been marked by a dedication to traditional techniques, and she is eager to share her knowledge and insights with her students. As an instructor, she is committed to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment. She believes in nurturing each student’s unique creative vision while instilling a strong foundation in classical drawing techniques. You’ll find her classes to be not only educational but also a source of motivation and artistic growth.
Stacey founded Classical Arts Atelier to give teens and young adults the technical skills needed to create realistic drawings and paintings through consecutive skill-based lessons similar to those used in the 19th century at a French Atelier.
