Guided & Open Studio

Elevate your artistry at the Philadelphia Sketch Club, America’s oldest artists’ club. Our
Saturday figure drawing workshops offer a unique, dual-track experience designed for everyone, from curious beginners to seasoned professionals.

Join us every Saturday in our historic upstairs gallery. Whether you prefer the freedom of an open studio or professional mentorship, you’ll find a welcoming community dedicated to the tradition and craft of drawing from life.

  • Guided Tier: Receive personalized, 1-on-1 instruction and live demonstration. Master the fundamentals of anatomy, proportion, and measuring techniques.
  • Open Studio Tier: Enjoy a traditional, self-guided drawing environment at an accessible price point.

Flexible Sessions & Long Poses
To help you move beyond quick sketches, we offer two distinct sessions featuring extended poses.

  • Morning Workshop (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM): Focus your energy on a one-week long pose, perfect for capturing a complete study in a single morning.
  • Afternoon Workshop (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM): Deepen your practice with two-week long poses, allowing for the highest level of refinement over two consecutive Saturdays.
